At Heritage Classical Academy, support is defined by a shared commitment to our school’s mission. We believe the Lord invites each member of our community to participate in meaningful ways—through prayer, the offering of time and talents, and by giving gifts that sustain and strengthen our work.

Donate
Since our founding, Heritage Classical Academy has relied on the generosity of donors to support our mission. We must acquire all funds for operations through tuition and fees and annual charitable contributions.
Heritage is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund provides vital, unrestricted support that directly benefits Heritage Classical Academy’s teachers and students. By bridging the gap between tuition and the true cost of a classical, Christian education, it helps fund faculty and staff benefits and development, tuition assistance, and programs that strengthen our Christ-centered mission.
Heritage’s tuition income covers essential school expenses. The Annual Fund enables deeper investment in students, faculty, and staff while keeping tuition costs stable and affordable.
Our Annual Fund goal for the 2025–2026 school year is to raise $800,000 in support.
A significant portion of these resources—nearly $500,000 this year—is dedicated to tuition assistance, helping make a classical, Christian education accessible to missionally aligned families who desire it for their children. The Annual Fund also enables us to care well for our faculty and staff by supporting meaningful benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement matching.
With your support, the Annual Fund strengthens Heritage's accessibility and sustainability, helping us serve families and invest in the teachers and staff who shepherd our students every day.

Giving Day 2026 is just around the corner! This 24-hour online giving event, from noon on May 6 through noon on May 7, is a special opportunity for our community to come together in support of Heritage’s Annual Fund—and this year, we will again participate in a nationwide competition with other schools for bonus prizes awarded based on giving categories. Giving Day
Friends of Heritage Classical Academy have a cost-free way to make a significant contribution to our students. The state of Ohio has established a state tax credit for taxpayers who contribute to HCA through the Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO), with the funds then designated for scholarships for Heritage students. Here are the details:
For gifts up to $750 for individuals and $1500 for married couples filing jointly, you will receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit to use during the current tax year. In other words, students at HCA receive the benefit of your gift at essentially no cost to you.
Since the tax credit is granted per taxpayer, married couples filing jointly may receive up to $1,500 in credit if both spouses make a $750 donation in their individual names.
Once a gift is claimed as a state tax credit, it is not eligible to be claimed as a federal deduction if the taxpayers itemizes.

Your contribution will provide scholarships to students at HCA, especially benefiting students with a demonstrated financial need.

Volunteer
Using your gifts and talents to plan and organize special events, helping in your child’s classroom, and acting as an ambassador of the school in your circle of influence are vitally important ways current families can support Heritage.
Over the years, the Heritage community has benefited greatly from parents and grandparents volunteering their time, gifts, and resources for student activities, facility care, fundraising, and special events. Thank you for supporting classical, Christian education through HCA. We pray that, with God’s blessing and the diligent work of teachers, parents, and grandparents, we will fulfill our mission to support and enhance families' efforts in educating their children.
