Follow the Yellow Brick Road to HCA’s Production of The Wizard of Oz!

There’s no place like HCA! Join us as our Theater Club clicks their heels and transports you somewhere over the rainbow in this year’s production of The Wizard of Oz. Under the thoughtful and inspired direction of Sarah Klein, students are guided not only in the artistry of performance but also in the deeper educational value of theater. Throughout this production process, cast members develop both foundational and advanced theatrical skills—including stage presence, vocal projection, character development, and a meaningful understanding of narrative and script analysis.

Yet the heart of the experience reaches far beyond technique. Students learn the significance of collaboration, discipline, and stewardship of their God‑given gifts, discovering the joy that emerges when individual talents blend to bring a story to life. While the importance of teamwork is emphasized at every stage, each student is also encouraged to step into moments of leadership, creativity, and personal expression within the production.
