THE GRIFFIN RUNDOWN
Every Tuesday, there is a new episode of the Griffin Rundown, which addresses important issues for families and the Heritage culture. This week, we are doing a Griffin Rundown Rewind of an episode with VP of Development, Rick Eimers. Mr. Nees and Rick discuss openhanded giving and the SGO. EDCHOICE
If you haven’t already, now is the time to renew and/or apply for EdChoice! The application window for the 2025-2026 EdChoice Scholarship program is now open. All full-time academy students are eligible. If you received EdChoice for the 2024-2025 school year, you must renew your application to be eligible for your award in the future. IOWA TESTING & EDCHOICE ELIGIBILITY
On April 8–9, 1st through 9th-grade students will take the IOWA standardized tests. Due to our state status and the high percentage of students utilizing EdChoice scholarships, testing is mandatory for all students. While scores do not impact eligibility, completion is an EdChoice scholarship requirement. Makeup testing will be granted only in unique circumstances. Please ensure your student attends school on April 8–9 and arrives on time. Thank you for your support in maintaining your child's eligibility for EdChoice scholarships!
SPRING STANDARDIZED TESTING

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL UPDATE
Please note that the last day of school for Heritage will be a half-day on May 23, with dismissal at noon. The school calendar has been updated to reflect this change.

LOST & FOUND
Please remember that the Lost and Found will be emptied at the end of each month. Any uniform items will be transferred to the uniform exchange and all other items will be donated. Come check it out before spring break!

PRAYING MOMS & DADS
Heritage moms, you are invited to join together for prayer on the second Thursday of the month, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the library. Heritage dads, please come pray with us on the second Friday of the month, from 6:30 to 7:30a.m. in the library.
PLAYGROUND USAGE
As the weather warms up, many families enjoy our playground after school. You are welcome to do so, however, please leave dogs at home as they are not permitted on the playground, field, or surrounding areas. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Please prayerfully consider helping with lunch and recess. If you are able to devote a portion of your day to volunteering, it would be greatly appreciated. In cases of extreme weather, we may have indoor recess and it’s always beneficial to have extra hands for helping and an additional set of eyes for observing. Tomorrow, Friday, April 5, our Houses will be serving our HCA community from 8:15–9:00a.m. by completing several indoor and outdoor projects. Students are permitted to wear jeans or sweatpants (no shorts), older tennis shoes, House t-shirts, and weather appropriate outerwear. Please ensure students dress appropriately for outdoor activities!

TRACK & FIELD MEETS
The high school track and field team will have their first meet this Saturday, April 5, at Pymatuning. The junior high team will have its first meet at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy next Monday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m. Please see the athletics calendar for more information!
