HCA CARES
HCA cares deeply about Medical Missions, and we are partnering with Medical Mission Outreach to help make a difference in lives around the world. Medical Missions Outreach works tirelessly in underdeveloped countries around the globe to offer quality, ethical medical care to those who need it most. They assemble and mobilize teams of medical professionals backed by non-medical volunteers to share the love of Christ using the tool of medicine.
If you wear glasses, try to imagine your life without them. Would you be able to work? Could you drive? Read your Bible? Life would be drastically different if you couldn’t see well. Every patient who attends their clinics not only receives a free vision screening and care but also hears about the God who loves them and longs for a personal relationship with them. It’s amazing to hear the gospel conversations that can start with a pair of glasses.
From March 10-21, both campuses will be collecting eyeglasses to show these people the incredible love of our caring God! Students can turn glasses into their classroom teacher. Let’s come together to show we care! To learn more about this important cause, please click here.
STUDENT APPEARANCE STANDARDS
Students are now permitted to wear shorts, and young ladies are not required to wear leggings under dresses/skirts. Please remind your student, if they choose to wear shorts/no leggings, they are fully expected to participate in the school day, including outdoor recess even if it is cold. Also, it’s the time of year when students may be outgrowing uniforms purchased in August. Please ensure unforms fit appropriately, dresses and skirts are knee-length and are free of holes. See Student Appearance Standards for more information.
SAVE THE DATES: GRANDPARENTS DAY
Grandparents days will be held on April 16 and 17 at Peninsula and on April 17 at Pepper Pike for both Lower and Upper School. Additional information is forthcoming!
