PARENTS’ TIME OFF FUNDRAISER
The 7th and 8th grade parents and students invite you to join this exciting opportunity to support the Philadelphia field trip! In exchange for a donation, you can drop off your children, ages 3 years through 5th grade, for a fun-filled time of pizza, games, crafts, and activities. Parents’ Time off will be from 5–8pm on Friday, February 28 at Pepper Pike and from 10am–1pm on Saturday, March 1 at Peninsula. Space is limited, so sign up your children today!
OTHER FIELD TRIP FUNDRAISERS
Dress-Down Days—Students, faculty, and staff members are welcome to dress down for $2 on Tuesday, February 25. Jeans and athletic pants are permitted; however, leggings and pajama pants are not allowed. All proceeds from dress-down days directly support field trips.
Bake Sale—We will have the opportunity to buy baked goods at lunch on Friday, February 21 at Pepper Pike and Thursday, February 27 at both campuses. All items will be priced at one or two dollars, and the proceeds will benefit our 7th and 8th graders’ April field trip to Philadelphia.

INAUGURAL DADDY-DAUGHTER DANCE
Fathers of preschool through fifth-grade girls, you are invited to our first-ever Daddy-Daughter Dance on Friday, March 14, at both campuses. The event will be open-house style from 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., and the cost is $10 per family. Register below. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come and enjoy a delightful morning filled with donuts, engaging activities, and a special visit from Outback Ray's reptiles! UPPER SCHOOL CAMPUS COORDINATOR
Please welcome Michelle Mannino to our staff as our new Upper School Campus coordinator! She will be handling daily Upper School student and parent needs and can be reached at michelle.mannino@heritageclassicalacademy.org. Bobette Hatteberg will continue to assist the Upper School Principal and administrate Upper School programming, events, and field trips.
STUDENT APPEARANCE STANDARDS
We encourage parents to take the opportunity this week to review the HCA Student Appearance Standards with their child and ensure that everything they are wearing aligns with the standards set forth. Please remind students that outerwear, including hoodies, must be removed during classes.
PHILADELPHIA FIELD TRIP PAYMENT
The final payment for the 7th and 8th grade Philadelphia Field Trip is due by March 7. Families will be notified that week regarding the credit they’ll receive from fundraisers to help offset part of the remaining balance.

VARSITY BASKETBALL
The HCA varsity boys basketball season continues after their playoff loss. The boys will take the court again at home this Friday, February 21 at The Edge, facing off against Victory Christian. The varsity boys will play at 5:00pm, followed by the girls' varsity team at 6:30pm. Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on both teams!
The girls varsity team will also have a match up with First Baptist Elyria on Monday, February 24 at 6pm.
BASKETBALL BANQUETS
We will host end-of-season banquets for our basketball teams on the following dates in the Pepper Pike Chapel:
6th Grade Boys, Middle School Boys and Girls: Wednesday, February 26, 4:00–5:00pm.
Varsity Girls and Boys: Wednesday, March 12, 4:00–5:00pm.
